120th Anniversary Limited Edition - Gibson Les Paul Tradition 2014
Celebrate Gibson's 120th anniversary with the guitar that made them a household name! The 2014 Gibson Les Paul Traditional It has a mahogany body with no chambered weight relief and an AA figured maple top. The mahogany neck has a late '50s thickness, for a vintage feel. Bound rosewood fingerboard with the classic trapezoid inlays and a 120th Anniversary banner at the 12th fret. The ‘59 Tribute Humbuckers are true screamers, with orange drop capacitors. Topped off with max grip speed knobs, TonePros vintage-style tuners, Graph Tech nut and chrome tune-o-matic bridge, this is a guitar that will be rocking out for generations to come. Bought from Ishibashi Shibuya, the largest Gibson retailer in Japan back in 2015. Some reviews from other owners. Sam R | Dec 26, 2017 Almost perfect Is there an ideal Les Paul? Not sure, but this one comes close. I like the non-weight relieved body made from one piece of mahogany, nicely rounded neck profile that feels just right, low-output pickups, subtle flame top and other vintage appointments. Stays in tune. Just over 9 lbs. It lacks just a little of that midrange "bite" that comes from Burstbuckers, and the honeyburst fade follows the edge of the guitar around the pickup selector (not vintage) but I like it just the same!
