Made at the start of the 1900s in Kelantan, owned by Wan Mariam Osman wife of Tengku Zainal Abidin Tengku Chik. This piece has been passed down 3 generations. Wood is in perfect condition, edges are still very sharp. The timber is unknown but is a deep reddish brown hardwood. Original glass was replaced in the mid 1980's. One of the doors is missing its glass pane. Will only accept inquiry from serious collectors of fine Malaysian antique furniture or those who understand the long term investment value of Malay kampung heritage.
